For February 2014, a total of 22 units of strata homes, i.e. condos and townhomes, were sold in the UBC campus.  This is an increase from the 18 units that sold in January 2014, and an increase to the 17 units that sold in February 2013. The highest number of units sold in February in the last 4 years was in 2011, when a total of 29 homes were sold.

Of the 22 units that sold last month, 15 were 2-bedroom homes, 7 units were 3-or-more bedroom homes, and no 1-bedroom homes were sold.

The UBC drops to #33 in 2014 from #31 in 2013 on Times Higher Education's World University Ranking.  The drop is consistant with the 2 other Canadian Universities that made it on this year's list - University of Toronto, which slid from #16 in 2013 to #20 this year and McGill University, which was tied with the UBC last year at #31 and tied again this year at #33.
